The world began to load in. Block by block, at first, until the land gradually began to grow outwards. A lucious plain of green and seas of rich blues stretched out beyond you. You stare, curiously, as your fist meets in contact with your first tree. The cube seems to pop out from existence, till you realise it had simply dropped to the floor and somehow made its way into your hand.


"So this is the world they had been talking about."


The sun stretched across the sky. Despite its odd, squared shape, its brightness brought an odd comfortness to your being. You smile as you begin to notice creatures wandering through the long grass and going about their day. A soft, melodic tune begins to play out of nowhere, and you can't help but smile. A world of peace. A world of adventure. Although you had no idea about the future troubles you'd have to face, you couldn't help but enjoy this moment of tranquility.

Whether it be when you were 8 or 12, 15 or starting now.
Minecraft will be tucked into a small part of your heart.
You won't realize it till you come back, but it will be there, waiting for you to remember your first world were you journeyed through something that will become a memory.
And forgotten one. Till you come back, and find it again.
To remember all of it, with emotions that you never thought when you played for the first time, that you will have listening to these songs.
