For glasses and hearing aids, i now take my hubby to Costco. I highly recommend Costco for both services, not only are the prices so affordable, the service is also excellent.
We saved 7k not going to an independent audiologist for the hearing aids, and also charges every time we go for a tune up. Forget about Advantagecare, it's not worth the hassle or the cost.

Thank you so much, i am 61, and can't wait until i turn 65, so i can retire with Medicare. It's going to be 4 long years.
Do you also advise people interested in retiring at age 62? In NY, the most comprehensive plans are $1500 per month on Affordable Care Act, on the NYStates website. That is so expensive!

Another wonderful and informative video. In March of this year, I turned 65 and signed up for Medicare Part A only. My work has creditable group insurance. There was no need to sign up for Part B. In March of 2020, I will sign up for Social Security benefits in order to get 'full retirement", age 66. I plan to retire from my job in June 2020. Can I sign up for Part B before I retire? If so, how soon can I make an appointment at Social Security? Or do I have to wait until I lose my group insurance at work?
