That's the joke, it's not Pedro in the suit.

I absolutely loved the very 1st face reveal of the Mando, how he looked, how he reacted.

The Armor, weapons and creed make the Mandalorian.
Without those, he's literally just some guy.

I think that was shown brilliantly with the face reveal when him and Bill burr snuck into the empire outpost.

Clearly our Mando is so much more than his armor, but we saw him struggle with that realization.

He really is just a man in a suit of armor at the end of the day, but his creed is what defines him.
When he has to go against everything he's believed in, we start to see who the true Mando really is.

He is so much more than a faceless soldier

Most of the time Mando is being played by 2 other stunt guys. Pedro is pretty much only involved for voice lines and scenes where the helmet is removed.

y’all PLEASE understand that pedro does wear the suit when he needs to :) he filmed season 1 (except for episode 4), then most of season 2, then very little of season 3 (or nothing at all?) because of scheduling conflicts with the last of us. otherwise, his stunt doubles come in for heavy action sequences, but when din djarin shows any part of his skin, it’s most likely pedro pascal (since neither of his doubles match his skin-tone..)

As much as I really like him and I’m a big fan, this question’s real answer is “not applicable” because He has been in the suit for three scenes in total for this entire show. One scene in season 1 and two scenes in season 2. And none in season 3. Wish people would just come out and admitted that he is mostly a voice actor and it sounds like based on all of his other projects he is going to continue to just be a voice actor for this role.
