Level 5 - M.E.G. 'House Keeping'

Показать описание
You've been wandering around the boiler rooms for half an hour now, and you feel like you're about to pass out. Your vision is becoming blurrier, and your skin is only getting warmer and sweatier. Your legs suddenly become weak and cause you to land on the side of a wall. You already drank the rest of your almond water and any other liquids in your backpack most likely evaporated. You start to gasp for air, attempting to stand up again but ultimately failing.
A bright light shines before you, as you expect it to be the gates to heaven. You close your eyes, accepting your fate. "Hey, are you still alive?", a muffled voice says. You open your eyes, now seeing a soldier with a gas mask holding a flashlight. "C'mon, we need to get you out of here", he says. He lifts you up and puts your arm around his shoulder, trying to help you walk. Another soldier is seen with a bottle of water. "Here", he says, offering you the bottle to drink.
You slowly grab the water bottle, open it, and drink some, pouring the rest of it over your head. After a few minutes of walking around with the soldier, you eventually come across a group of soldiers standing by an exit. They all move to the side as you and the soldier walk through the door, taking you out of the Boiler Rooms and into one of the Beverly Rooms. Instead of the room being completely empty and uninhabited, it's instead filled with furniture and people. Some are seen taking care of wounded wanderers, while others seem to be packing boxes with resources.
The soldier gently sits you down in one of the chairs and walks over to a table filled with rations and supplies. He grabs a water bottle and a pack of food, handing them to you as he makes his way back. "Make sure you don't head back into that place, okay? We're lucky we even found you before something bad happened". You thank him for saving you, and you open the water bottle to take a sip.
The soldier walks back into the Boiler Room, most likely looking for any other survivors. Your body temperature starts to steady back to its original state and your skin slowly starts to dry up from all the sweat. You snack on some of the rations and take a big gulp of water, feeling very lucky, as you couldn't have survived without the M.E.G. once again.
You've been craving human connection for a little while now, and you feel satisfied knowing that you ended up in this place. The chatter of multiple people bounces off the walls while the beautiful sound of old music fills the room once again, giving you the feeling of utmost happiness. You take another sip of water before closing your eyes and dozing off into a light rest.
