The first cruise when I was on the Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71 was a North Atlantic NATO exercise in the North Sea. My first port of call was Wilhelmshaven Germany. It looked like this (with the exception of the skeletons) every single day. I never saw sunlight the entire cruise. Windy, rainy, just miserable weather. This video captures that perfectly. I got flashbacks lol! Nice job on the video. Looks fantastic.

Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to fly the F14 thanks to having the movie Top Gun memorized from watching it literally 50 times. I might just do this...
My favorite thing as a kid was to read these simulator manuals. Half of the immersion in these sims came from the manuals, you felt like you were really part of the military and reading these deep technical manuals and learning actual procedures and what not.

The clouds in DCS are almost perfect. It's by far the best clouds I've seen (that you can fly through/around) and just has a graphics generation to go before they're rock solid with higher resolution noise/turbulence and less/zero artifacts from the raymarching. They look really good as long as you just don't focus on them.
