The new profiles deliver a dynamic range that can be widened by up to 1300% for smoother gradations; and easy color grading, correction and handling. S-Log3 gamma offers better tonal reproduction from shadow to mid-tone (18% gray) than S-Log2 gamma. The α7S II even offers impressive 14-stop latitude in S-Log3 gamma setting. S-Gamut3.Cine reproduces the wide color gamut of DCI-P3 color space of digital cinema. S-Gamut3 reproduces almost all actual colors, so it's suitable for archiving. The α7S II also supports the popular S-Gamut/S-Log2.
