The system will bring flooding rain, strong winds, and coastal flooding Wednesday and Thursday in SELA and S MS. It will be moving rather quickly. Francine remained a tropical storm with top winds of 65 mph and the track has shifted closer to the New Orleans metro area with hurricane warnings going to Lafourche and Terrebonne and Lower Jefferson parishes.

At this rate of it shifting, the eye is going to hit New Orleans. It's like not matter what the hurricane, it can be predicted to Alabama... the next day Mississippi... the next day, "Oh, we couldn't expect this... it's hitting New Orleans." Yes, it's hyperbola but...

6:10 That looks like a pre-10 AM track. The forecast model (with winds and estimated rainfall) shown previous to official NHC track shows a vastly different cone. Stay safe y'all.

Sorry, but it almost always starts over Lafayette.
And always worst case scenario. Hope it only a Cat 1.
