I love how finally there’s a “Certified Doctor” sign right under the video, where it demonstrates the reliability of her information. I have been following you for YEARS. You have helped me a TON to remain educated, and especially, to know when it was time to seek professional help with my past severe acne. Then finally went on accutane and also fought with my hyperpigmentation after the literal war I had going on on my face. And I remember I used to rely on her advice and knew how to act and that made my stepdad call out the fact that watching “someone random on youtube” wouldn’t help.
Years later, I am still eager to keep gaining knowledge to maintain my skin clear and healthy. I’m waaay happier right now, thank you for what you do, and thank you for sharing your abundant knowledge with all of us and changing people’s lives. Thank you, Dr. Dray. ❤

Dr. Dray, I hope you read this! I am immensely thankful for this video! I am a lighter complexion and my elbows have been dark since I can remember. I often got asked if I had fallen when I wore short sleeves. So many comments that I stopped wearing short sleeves. I had tried so many things for years and nothing worked, no matter how well I followed a routine. After running into this video, I purchased urea. I’ve used it over night along with Dr. Scholl’s restoring balm during the day. I started this in September and today I finally saw a ‘normal’ elbow in the mirror. Tomorrow I will confidently wear a short sleeve blouse for the first time in years! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

I've been using the Eucerin since you recommended it for wobbly under arms. I use it all over now. I make sure I put it on when I'm still wet from the shower, as you suggested. HUGE difference. My knees and elbows are now the same as the rest of my skin. Two tips if I may. 1. When you put your sunscreen on, flex your knees and elbow so the skin is
stretched flat. Then put on the lotion. Better coverage means lighter skin. 2. If you use fresh lemons in cooking, save those squished out lemon halves. I keep mine in a ziplock bag in the fridge. Before I go to bed I rub the inside of the lemons on my elbows and knees. I wouldn't recommend doing this too often. It exfoliates and bleaches the skin ( a little). Thanks as always for your wonderful videos. 👍🏻👍🏻

Applying the Ordinary’s Retinoid 2% and Lactic Acid 5% + HA serums, as well as 20% ammonium lactate cream on my elbows this past month has significantly lightened my previously dry and grey-brown elbows. The skin is soo much more smoother, moisturised, and even-toned. I’m gonna continue until it’s a little more even because I now swear my life on it!

Advance Repair is wonderful! If you have not used this give it a try right after bathing or showering 12:47

Dear Dr. Dray - at age 45, I’m still not willing to show people the self injury scars I have on my arms. This makes summer months even more difficult. Since this is a sad reality for many, for people of all ages., what would your advice be for skin care for self harm and scars - from fresh wounds to old scars? Obviously I hope everyone gets the help they need and don’t harm themselves at all. Help is out there, I wish everyone kindness ❤

Adding velvet-covered memory foam arm cushions on my office chair made my elbows soft again. It's not like I was going to stop leaning on my chair's arms. 😄

Hi Dr. Dray! Happy Wednesday! I really like this set up w/ the mic & lightning. That lighting is “giving” what it’s suppose to be giving, you look great. You skin look very luminous✨

This was so interesting! I had a compound fracture of the patella a few months ago (no surgery, thankfully) and have noticed odd patches around the injured knee, which had a great deal of swelling for some time, of course, of slightly thickened skin and discoloration. It's fascinating to hear this explanation and possible remedies. Thank you Dr. Dray. I never fail to learn something useful from your videos.

At 3:47 I presume Dr Dray meant to say "Sun exposure slows down healing" rather than "Sun protection".

I am in my "wiser years" at 75. I love that phrase, by the way, as it is so much nicer than saying old. I was an avid gardener and landscaper who has never used sunscreen until very recently. I watched your earlier video on rough and bumpy knees. I have used a pea size of the product Eucerin Roughness Relief Spot Treatment you recommended to my knees since July 1st. I believe I see a little improvement, so I have signed up for subscription status on Amazon. This video which I believe you called an update on the condition, makes me wonder if I should switch to a product in this video. Secondly, I have been using Gold Bond Retinol nightly since you first mentioned it. I have been avoiding using the Gold Bond on the knees. Please comment.

Today's video Doctor Andrea has such a strong, possitive and heartwarming message on how we humans as individuals are not made of glass but on the contrary we fall, hit, cut, scrape and even put force-pressure in many areas of our body and that has as a result certain alterations, lesions and darkening of the skin. Even certain internal conditions can affect our skin such as insulin resistance or b12 deficiency like Doctor Andrea mentioned in her informative video 😊. So to be short we don't have to ashamed that's just who we are even our scars make us beautiful we should be proud not shy 😊❤. Oh my who doesn't love good old Urea and if you combine it with niacinamide it's a rich sensation i 💘 it. Also petrolatum and silicones and oils lubricate these areas and with the whole cosmetic appearance overall. I have eczema and colloidal oatmeal helps so much with hydration and the skin appearance (the redness and inflammation). Have a great Day Doctor Andrea god bless your angelic nature 😊❤.
