Saw a snap on box at the pawn shop today, I was comparing it mentally to my 6 drawer full bank cart until I looked at the price and realized a used one is 3x more expensive for the same quality. US general boxes give mechanics an achievable start and prevents many from ruining their retirement.

They are built extremely well with thick gauge metal. The thickness is actually equivalent to a Matco box. I just picked up my second US general box today.

This was the reason I bought my Mac box, but the salesmen jumped up and down in the box ... U.S. General coming uppp just amazing ....purchased the Mac box 10 years ago

That mf had got to be attached to the wall. I only say that because I've got a 5500$ snapon cart I wouldn't do that shit on.. not because it wouldn't take it. Because it would flip over and kill me

I shop smart. Yeah snap on is nice but not worth the money for a toolbox. I trust us general and icon boxes. Waiting for the gen 3 to come out. I only buy certain snap on tools because most tool truck companies are having tool’s manufactured in Taiwan and stuff apparently. Matco dealer told me and Mac as well. I buy snap on ratchets and other tools they make that are made in the us. I like supporting our country as every American should. I believe us general are made in the us right? Lol😊

The slides must be different on the bigger boxes compared to the smaller ones. I tried this in my 26” us general and it bent a slide. Good news is their slides aren’t that expensive.
