Imagine after a long day of adventuring, you walk into a tavern and hear the travelling bard troupe playing this banger.

I just want to express how amazing this isn't just a 1:1 cover but a stylized rendition that made it feel natural to hear. Not just the sound of a panicking medieval instruments like some covers tend to be.

Bard: "I want to inspire the party."
GM: "All right, roll a D20"
Bard: "Natural 20"

This guy is so awesome I created a NPC for him in a D&D campaign. The group arrived to a town where his Nothing Else Matter version was played all the time because the bard left the music on after a wild village party and he was lost. They found him in a Dungeon near by after a fossilized dragon wall, in the cursed treasure chamber. A bit classic yes, they wanted that style lol

This is probably the first time YouTube recommended me something that is 100% relevant to me.

The mead was perfect, the mutton a little undercooked the way I like it, and the band blew the doors and windows off the tavern as usual! Well done sir, well done!

As a DragonForce fan and a D&D enthusiast, this is absolute heaven.

I can just imagine Merry, Pippin, Frodo and Sam dancing on the tavern table while enjoying a pint of ale 🍻

You know, there's just something about power metal where I can hear this incredibly frenetic song full of screaming guitars and panic-attack level drumbeats, and I just go: "This is great, but I bet this melody would sound amazing as like a slow emotional piano piece or something."

I’m gonna hide this in my tavern ambience playlist and see how long it takes my players to actually hear it, great job!

*This feels like the outro of an amazing medieval rpg game!*

This song wrapped up my group’s very first DnD campaign together. Thank you Algal for setting the scene for a great memory for us! ❤

This sounds so original while being a cover, its just... so perfect in the version it was transformed into.

What a banger. this is such a good song to put around a dnd table whenever inside a tavern.

Awesome, it really sounds as if the song was specifically written for those instruments! Incredible.

The cool thing is that the original lyrics still works really well! Legendary rendition!

A very upbeat tune for a song about overcoming overwhelming adversity

I can just imagine a dnd session where they’re at a tavern for a break, then the dm puts this on for background music. One of the party members recognizes it and slowly turns at the dm while the dm responds with a slight devious grin

This might be the greatest genre-bent version of a song I've ever heard. It's so unbelievably well arranged for the tavern style while maintaining what makes the original great. Amazing job, dude!
