Zara really moved up in my opinion after this update. She came out of nowhere to land firmly behind only Bella. Crazy. I really like this flirty fun side to her character.

Zara! Stop it! Your making it difficult to remain faithful to Bella! Even though Zara had very little screen time, she was still able to put a genuine smile on my face in chapter 5. From the basketball scenes, to the piggyback rides, and especially with the frequent playful bumping into mc. Zara is easily my second next to Bella! Thank you Ocean for making me feel the way I feel with such wonderful characters. Summers Gone is of the very few visual novels that makes me play tug of war with who I want to remain faithful to. I like em all, but I'm not a harem type. I prefer monogamy relationships.

However, in regards to Nia, I always liked how she looked from the very early stages of the visual novel, but i assumed perhaps she wasnt worth chasing because I felt like perhaps she wasnt an option, and that she is simply a side character, and so I would always kind of brushed her off, but knowing what I know by finally finishing chapter 5 today, Nia just might get up there now. But then ya have others like Maja, Ayua, Vanessa, Eva, Sasha, Robin, Nancy and Kate. I can honestly say that the only ones that I wouldn't pursue romantically are Nadia and Sonya. Then you also have the cougars from chapter 5. I like em too! My favorite Cougar is definitely Amber still.

Apologies for the essay. Like I said. I just finished chapter 5 moments ago, and I am ecstatic for season 2!
