Scared of Student Loans 😱💰
Показать описание
Learn everything about Studying in the United States 🇺🇸 in India’s biggest study tour. I am coming to the following cities.
Hyderabad - April 15
Bengaluru - April 16
Pune - April 22
Mumbai - April 23
P.S. We are also welcoming parents this time. Please register for your parent if they plan to join you 💵Money is the biggest hurdle and the motivation when it comes to studying abroad. Here are my few tips from the mistakes I made when I accrued $50,000 in debt. ⬇️
1️⃣ Follow @parthvijayvergiya because I post a lot of content about studying abroad.
2️⃣ Taking loan is not a bad thing if you understand how to pay the loan back. Understand all the loan terms like interest rates, moratorium period, APR etc. Understanding these will help you get the best deal.
3️⃣ A lot of times students focus on part time jobs more than studying. Even though part time jobs are great they shouldn’t affect your education. You are paying a lot and you want to make sure that you make the best use of it. Focus on studies and getting an internship. Working 10hrs a week is the ideal if you can manage more than that, there is no harm but there should be a balance.
4️⃣ Once you graduate, don’t send money right after. Save atleast 2 months of rent and living expense and then start paying back your loan. Most bank have 6 months extra payment free period after your graduation. Use atleast 2-3 months of it to save money and then start sending. The money you saved will help cover some unexpected expenses during your stay in the US.
5️⃣ Stressing about debt will not help you at all. Having a plan will. When you are getting a job, see how much your paycheck will be after taxes, have a plan and then go at it. Put your bonuses in your loan as well.
If you need any help, I have made a Facebook group, if you’d like to join feel free.
I send out an email every few weeks about important updates on visa changes, resources which will be useful etc.
