$400 BUDGET CANOPY BUILD - How to build DIY Custom Drawers

I couldn't go past a Facebook Marketplace deal. Decided to do a full custom build of this canopy and show you how it can be done on a budget! Let me know if you have any questions or ideas on what I should have done.

No to Liquid Nails as it sets hard. You need flexibility in your vehicle boxes so use a roofing silicone or a Sikaflex type sealant. Anti-fungal or acetic silicone to prevent mould growth.
Important tip, only use Neutral silicone to fix mirrors as ordinary acetic silicones and Sikaflex eat the silver backing of mirrors!

Josh, with those full extension drawer runners take a measurement from face to face of the carcase and then subtract 25 mm and that will give you the outside face size of your drawer. You then subtract the thickness of both drawer sides and that gives you the width of your drawer bottom. Mark 😊
