I understand that as of about two weeks ago visa free travel for an expanded list of countries is now sixty days up from the previous thirty days. Tourism is down in Thailand and surrounding countries since Covid so like Thailand they have allowed expanded visa rules to try to attract more tourist and therefore increased revenue.

What month did you recently fly to Thailand?

Pardon me....typos below have been fixed and I reworded things:

Depending on your arrival month the visa for Canadians and Americans should have been 30 days. You already mentioned February and March 11th clarifies a lot because now we're in July and August of 2024 and things have yet changed again.
We are under the understanding that a person can fly from Canada or the USA and be Visa exempt for 60 days now.
Correct?
