RimWorld Biotech - First 500% Playthrough! | 01

My first exploratory playthrough of RimWorld Biotech! Despite being on the hardest difficulty, this is a slow-paced gameplay playthrough to experiment with Biotech and learn the new ins and outs. More focused challenge runs will start after this!

Also, I am currently hiring an editor. Edited episodes should start going up by the time I get to my SECOND Biotech playthrough!

Full playthrough is played on Losing Is Fun set to +500% difficulty without pausing against Randy Random. The run started as the Mechanitor. This run uses Fluid Ideology.

*No Pause - Adam is using a mod that disables pause in every portion of the game. This means it is impossible for him to pause with a key press and the game will not pause during events or trade, making things much more difficult.

** Losing is Fun set to +500% is the hardest difficulty in unmodded RimWorld

Heads up, this is my first exploratory blind playthrough of Biotech, so it will be very slow-paced. Also, these are the unedited episodes. --- I AM HIRING AN EDITOR ALREADY, but the process has not been completed in time for Biotech. I should have an editor ready to go by my second playthrough. So expect that one to release as both decently-heavy-edited 30 minute episodes AND unlisted full uncut playthroughs just in case you like those better.

Also, also, sorry for being a bit out of it at parts of the early playthrough. I somehow had nearly 3, 000 people watching live which was super surreal to me. I've been streaming for 10 years (5 'full time') and never thought I would see more than a few hundred at a time. I was a bit shell-shocked and lost track of some gameplay lol.

These genes are incredibly diverse. I think you could even make fantasy races like elves, dwarves or orcs. Hell, some D&D play in the Rim.

Hi Adam! I'm glad we'll be able to see this series on YouTube. Was excited to follow this on stream but twitch vods are pretty tough to watch playthroughs and was excited for your first biotech run.

Tried to play a few hours before work, had some fun messing with some stuff, dev mode can pet you create custom genes that go over cap, so if anyone is more casual as a player or likes to do what I do and start with 1 blatantly op pawn and then see how well you can handle 500% there are some fun things there.

Honestly tho, I was so spoiled by qol mods that my vanilla+dlc run felt off, not having the expanded work priorities, no haul urgently, etc etc made me want to wait for at least some mods to update, so glad I have you to watch and see the new stuff and explore it while not having to deal with my lack of qol stuff personally.

So thank you again adam for more rimworld stuff :) cant wait to see all the cool stuff you come up with and try out
