I'm not sure I agree with this move by Joe, if true. It's not that Abrams is a bad VP pick, but the optics of it would come off as either presumptuous or desperate, or both. And it just seems overly calculating from someone like Joe whose greatest strength is authenticity. Now if it works, he obviously comes out looking like a genius, but who knows, I could see it going either way, but it's still incredibly risky. I'm a Beto 2020 guy, but will definitely be following this storyline to see where it goes.
