There are probably natural events stronger than anything we've recorded happening in the middle of the ocean

All still pictures, would like to see it again with moving pictures of the whirlpools, to see really how powerful they are....

Saltstraumen: "... more than 105 thousand gallons of water" ?!? Try "more than 105 billion gallons of water". According to wikipedia, 400 million cubic meters of water flows through the narrows every 6 hours, and that is 105, 668, 820, 943 US gallons.

the best top 10 video I've ever seen. No annoying intro, no typical YouTube like/comment/subscribe begging, no filler content to force the video to 10 minutes, no asking people to check out more videos, no advertisements. Just a simple top ten. Nice work! <3

The was a whirl pool that was created because of a oil drill which hit a salt MINE which made billions of gallons of water down into the MINE creating a whirl pool which dragged in 11 boats a tug boat the oil drilling station and even a small island as well as 65 acres of land. Making it the most powerful whirlpool in history.

Cant imagine how awful it must be to die while diving, let alone being sucked down 330 feet in minutes. Even if you manage to survive the initial drop, your probably just sit down there not being able to move waiting for your air to run out. Wholy

THERE’S A FRICKING WHIRLPOOL CALLED NARUTO? That’s probably where the Rasenshuriken came from.

Our Carrier the USS Saratoga went through the straits of Mecina often. I guess it just ran over the whirlpool.

How do you disrupt and get rid of a whirlpool? I’ve seen when a large object or many got sucked it, it disrupted a bit

Am sorry, but, if there's one phenomena in the whole of the universe where still images are an anathema....its whirlypools.
