Follow along as the Bicycle Touring Pro travels by bike through the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Northern Utah.

In 2007, the Uinta National Forest merged with the Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Today, this 21 million acre landscape in northern Utah is known as the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

The name (Uinta) is derived from the native Ute word, "Yoov-we-teuh," which means "pine forest." While the word "Wasatch" comes from a Ute word meaning "low place in high mountains."
