This is the fifth episode of Darren Alff's "Uinta National Forest" bike tour in the great state of Utah.

In this episode of Bicycle Touring Pro's video series on the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, Darren Alff shows off his fancy Co-Motion Cycles Siskiyou touring bicycle and tells the story of his first bicycle - a Sierra Schwinn that had no brakes and was run over by a van.

The moral of this video is: Sometimes you just gotta use what you've got. Then, as time goes by and you get more money, slowly upgrade your gear. You don't have to go out right away and buy an expensive bicycle, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, etc. Just use what you've got for the time being... and then upgrade once you know you want to do more bicycle touring in the future.
