Production Notes:
===============
Editing Completed: 21st August 2017

After much of this video was recorded, I found problems with some of the games FPS and aspect radios, so I put the video on hold in 2016 until I could rip better quality games. Vroom and Super Cars 2 were not so bad, but I had to rip fresh copies of the others.

In May of 2017, I rebuilt the final 4 shows all over again, and re-edited most of the footage. I made the voice-over narration for this on 21st of August during the summer break, ready for a September release.

From the start, I wanted to include some of the other games which didnt make it on to the list, and scatter those games at the start of some of the shows. For this one, I recorded a whole bunch of games (Badlands etc) in January of 2016, which you can see in the video. These arent necessarily "The Bottom 10" driving games ever, as there are far worse games than Crazy Cars, but this gives a flavour of why the top games are so highly rated.

Thanks for the memories as always. I played Crazy Cars III for hours. I don't remember seeing Vroom before. Very nice! I had an A4000/030 so I would have experienced about the same gameplay you describe and demonstrate. I always wished that I had an 040 or an FPU though but that stuff cost a fortune in the 90's. cheers!

Crazy Cars 3 - totally forgot about that game. I have NO idea when I played it the last time but I do remember loving it... And besides the music in Super Cars 2, the answers in the interviews could be laugh out loud funny. Brilliant game!

I really liked Badlands, and LOVED playing MicroMachines. I remember enjoying so much trying to learn that level you mentioned with the ruler etc. FUCK YEAH for Lotus 3! God I loved that music. Really liked Crazy Cars 3 too, I forgot about it! Gotta love these top down racing games. Too bad you don't see those anymore.
Great mention of Rollcage for PS1, gosh I loved that one too so much.

Afaik 'Vroom' didn't need any accelerator for this speed; it soared on a standard A500!

Vroom! was one of the bests games on the 16 bits. I used to go to a computer club where people purely copied games off each other, and when somebody got this everyone was watching, it was so fast and slick and the controls were perfect. I have no idea how they got everything so right. It was faster and more responsive on the ST, it was ported over to the Amiga later.

I like this series a lot, thanks.Though racing games on the amiga never could appeal to me much. Only on the PS1 did I really start to enjoy racing games. Platformers and RPGs is what I enjoyed most on the amiga.

Pretty sure those "beans" in MIcro Machines are supposed to be blobs of honey/marmalade, hence the slow down when you drive over them.

When you're doing a top 10 like this, do you find it more freeing when you're following user ratings from Lemon? Is it difficult balancing how personal opinions might interfere with the overall opinion, or might it be just as or more difficult doing a personal list justice?
