I really enjoyed your videos on the Newbery winners and I've added quite a few to my tbr!

I love your edition of Invincible Louisa, too! I did enjoy that one and yes, it was a great biography for kids, but the adult one is fascinating. Too bad about Roller Skates. I started that one a long time ago and never picked it back up! I WILL read it, but man, you're not encouraging me to. 😂Yes, I enjoyed Thimble Summer, but you are so right! Her parents just let her go do whatever lol.

Hello! I am testing new head phones getting ready for my Bible Study Fellowship. I will watch the rest of your video soon. Love you!

A sweet video, Elizabeth! I have read none of the books for this decade, but now have many of them on my radar. A couple of them are not available at the library. I reviewed how many Newbery books I have read in all: only 11!! Six of which are winners and five are honors with about a dozen other titles I have wanted to read and have not gotten around to it. Always good to assess where one is, so a good time to do that with this video. The best. D.

Oh my goodness! I had no idea you happened upon Wanda Gag's house! That's incredible!

I found The White Stag almost unreadable for some reason. I remember reading it out loud to my kids as part of some unit study (this was years ago) and none of us could quite figure out what was happening! I would love to read all the Newberrys. I should start this project myself! I have enjoyed all these videos you have made. Thank you!

I remember watching a movie version of Caddie Woodlawn on VHS as a kid. I just searched Letterboxd and there was one released in 1989 so it was probably that one. I wonder how it would do on a rewatch.

My 5th grade son has to read a Newberry winner every quarter and I wanted him to find out info about all of them to pick his next one

I'm excited to watch these reviews!
