Hello there...I can't get enough of children books of times past...I have a whole section in my home library dedicated to just vintage kids books...I love the 60s and 70s the best mainly because I was born in the 60s...great video can't wait to see more...I just watched your videos from like 2 years ago on the award winning children books...loved it...

Wow, Elizabeth. I did not know about Open Library. I found Mei Li and just read it! They also have quite a few of the other Caldecotts that my local library does not have, and Amanda Flower's A Plain Malice, and some other books I can only get as audio books from my library. THANK YOU. THANK YOU!

This was so interesting. Oh the joy of Little Golden Books. =) I was curious and had to look up the prayer book illustrator and the illustrators of Little Golden Books. The similar art would be Eloise Wilkin. I think her work is similar to Elizabeth Orton Jones. And thank you for sharing Emily's favorites. 🤗

This was such a fun video! The Little House is one of my all-time favorite picture books- such a precious story. Do you remember Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel? It's also by Virginia Lee Burton and I have my husband's copy from his childhood.
