My grandparents have had their pellicle for decades now. I don't know how long, but I am 30 and have always called it lemonade(no association with lemons in my language)🤣. It is also called mushroom tea in some parts of the world, including Eastern Europe. It super easy to keep and feed.. the longer it sits the more intense the flavour obviously.. but it really nice just like in the jar. Some say acquired taste. I would agree, although delicious in my opinion.☺️ I learned of the name Kombucha only in my 20s. 🤣 Cheers from Estonia🇪🇪.

So for second fermentation you need ones in day slow let little gas come out so at end of 2-4 days you don’t have a big bum 😅😅. And when you making new need take scoby out, make new solution and put back, it’s need set on top, it’s live .

burp those bottles when COLD every day or every other day. Don't be cheap about bottles because most bottles aren't designed to be under pressure and will explode.
