How do I become an appointment setter?

I did door to door Solar for 2 months. I was the top performer multiple times in those 8 weeks. There is good money to be made but idk where 35k a month is coming from as a setter. Not realistic. The biggest checks we’ve seen on the national call at my company was like 8-10k and that’s a 2 week check. Again, good money but not what he’s saying. Anyways. Despite doing well there I couldn’t stand the job. People are rude to you all day long and just slam doors in your face and even the best of the best get terrible intersections they have to deal with on a daily basis. It’s also not fun walking around for 6 hours in 20 degree weather. You don’t have a car you get dropped off. Don’t recommend. If you wanna work Solar be a closer not a door knocker.
