If you use thd word "wave" to describe how particles of water oscillate or viberate about their equilibrium positions or the momentary displacements of the particles about their natural posions in the molecular structure of water, almost all will misundersttand a wave as something geting through water, but not coming from the very uniform motions of the water particles
