Here are two artists who re-recorded their songs that became more popular - featuring "I Am A Rock" by Simon & Garfunkel and "Something In The Way She Moves" by James Taylor. Simon & Garfunkel released “I Am A Rock” on their second album in January 1966. Four months earlier, Paul released it in the UK on his debut solo album. James Taylor re-recorded “Something In The Way She Moves” for his Greatest Hits album in 1976 because he couldn't secure the rights for the original recording from his debut album released eight years earlier.

I can't be the only one who immediately thought of George Harrison when I heard the opening line of the James Taylor song.

I will adore James Taylor forever. I saw him in concert once. It was an out-of-body experience. ❤❤❤❤

I have an absolutely unrelated comment, but I'd still want to share it here:
There's a video of you and Michael from Vsause where you talk about distant things appearing smaller and I think I have a good analogy that a blind person can understand.
Sound. If you hear a sound coming from a distance away it's quieter (smaller) than it actually is if you would be standing next to it.
Hope it helps. Love your videos.

Green Day originally recorded Welcome to Paradise for Kerplunk and the re-recorded it for Dookie.

Back Then: we got a hit, we just gotta rearrange it, and rerecord it, because we can't let this hit song fade away.

Current Bands: if we rerecord all our greatests songs and albums, we will get 100% profit, and our studio will get nothing after they invested so much in us with studio time and promotions.

So, James Taylor pulled a Taylor Swift before Taylor Swift was born.
