As someone with thalassophobia to a degree, that Death in the Water 2 segment resonated deeply. I am *right* there with you, Jesse! It looks like an entire game devoted to Oh Hell No. May it's target audience of masochists enjoy it (and I mean that sincerely - we don't shame in this house).

I get the impression that DSR's "alternate ending" might involve Isaac making himself and Nicole "whole". Maybe depending on certain actions taken throughout the campaign, like not questioning Nicole's actions or performing suspect side-tasks, Isaac ends up causing an early Convergence event on Aegis VII. Assuming that the Red Markers can even trigger a Convergence event in the first place.

It could be something else entirely, maybe even something relatively minor, but I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Your LP of Dead Space is still one of my top 10 things on Youtube. So excited to see you play the remake! Of course, it will be hard to beat the perfect comedic timing of the original, but it does look like a great game from what we've seen so far.

"What happened to Death In the Water 1?" Fun fact, it's on Steam. It turns out just a survival where you're just in open water and you have to survive as long as you can against great whites. Not sure if that is more or less horrifying than Death in the Water 2.

1:30 it’s odd that he wouldn’t want to see it though to the end so the question is as with any murder mystery did he jump or was he pushed?

If he jumped it could be any number of things from him not really thinking it was his project to him needing to leave for personal reasons and it will be too long before it actually comes out.

- additional ending can mean only one thing, "make us whole" ending where he dies. Simple as that.
- the guy leaving BioWare won't affect the game at this point in development. His just was already done. That's why he was ready to move on

If dead space is as bad as WC3: refunded I wont be surprised in the least. It's EA after all. I am 1000% expecting 80% of the work done on the game to be the addition of an in game store to buy stuff with real money. I still have the original DS on steam and have put in 100s of hours into it over the years, I'd rate it as good as the original Halo. I wont feel the need to even sniff at the remake unless it is confirmed it will have 0 added monetization and the game is *objectively* better than the original. On top of that, it's EA. I am more likely to pirate it than legit buy it even if I do have an interest in playing it.
