Renewables are directly responsive for the energy crisis. The more unreliable fractions the higher the need for dirty peak energy sources such as gas and biomass.

It’s the renewables that got so many country’s in this mess. Doubling down on it is insanity. Thank goodness I live in a sane place.

Renewables can never be a substitute for oil, at best they can be a minor energy source.

What if the sun doesn't shine and wind doesn't blow? Also these things take alot of land (alot more than a nuclear power plant) one wind turbine takes up multiple acre's of land and you need well over 2000 to power one large city. Lets not talk about solar panels, you would need multiple sq Miles of solar panels to power a city

Is the opposite, they have to slow down the craziness and stop decommissioning traditional power sources without a complete (not day/wind dependent) solutions. Not saying solar and wind are not the way, just they're not there yet.
Solar can be really powerful and cheap, they just should find a way to store that energy for the night time.

Faster than this? I don't think it is possible. If you lived in Germany in the last 10 years you realised that government have cut the budget for everything to support green movement. There is not kindergarten, no proper schools, to just register yourself in a city like Berlin it can take up to 6 months, ... and still after all these the electricity priced went up 500% this year due to gas price jump.
