Thank you Renogy for a decent comparison video, this type of video is what we need and appreciate, just remember to add cost analysis for future comparison videos it doesn’t have to be real specific but should let users know where they get the best value for quality in the product range, the Victron and Rover are the best best quality for dollar in this category

Nice video. I do wish "blue tooth" controls wasn't emphasized as "remote". You have to be within a relatively short distance. I wish for a networked connection built in which would allow true remote access. The advanced level units only advantage is the warranty, really not much else unless you count "blue tooth", which I don't. In my current setup ( a Rover 40 and a Rover 20 in remote buildings) I would have to go outside and walk a bit to get to the units blue tooth range if I had it. If they were networked, I could monitor from inside my house. In fact, I lightly would have to go in those buildings since they are metal and difficult on radio signals (which is what blue tooth is).

Can the user setting on the Renogy 60 be configured for Lithium Iron Phosphate with a lower voltage (27.3V example) cutoff?

That old school battery selector on the REGO is a useless function, once set you're done. Who wants a big knob on the front of their regulator hampering install locations. Not designed by a user.

with the rover li 100 vs say a victron smart solar 160/70-tr in australia I can get the victron for the same price as the rover li 100 with bluetooth.. main differences obviously is the victron like you said has a higher track record also the vicron can take upto 35mm2 on the battery terminals compared to the rover can only take 25mm2, the victron is lighter by 6kg, its operating temps go upto 60c compared to 45c, and from other peoples tests when victron states 98% efffieciancy its pretty much exactly that, rover says <98% which from your tests state 90% which could get lower... I think victron is the clear winner for australia

Will they last indefinitely ? Please no more planned obsolescence in the world. It needs to stop. I hope your products serve your customers as long as physically possible :) I need a new controller, but I might put the old one back in. My pops, got a new controller to better match newer battery types. Yet, the new controller is dead. It only lasted around 7 years. The old controller(which still works) was in service around 25 years !!
