Professional surfer Justine Dupont tries to guess the beach based on the wave.

'Atypical' is a word often used to describe France's Justine Dupont because of her natural ease on both small waves and the monsters that wake up in the winter. In recent years Justine has developed a passion for big wave surfing. And it's been working out pretty well. She has managed to surf the 15m monster of Belharra. Twice. I recognized Mavericks right away because I'm from there, but it did look really weird in that clip. It doesn't usually have the barrel section on top but obviously the conditions were different that day

I like how they got the subtitles wrong on the Maverick's wave. She (!) clearly said "you don't see much towing at Maverick's", which is true. But the subtitles thought she said "tour" instead of "tow."
