I am so glad I found this. I canned some pork meat and it was horrible. This recipe looks wonderful! I have that book!❤

My husband and I had breakfast at a famous restaurant in Santa Fe this week, and my side was pork posole. I remembered I had a jar of this spicy pork on my pantry and pulled it out today. Rinsed and drained 2 cans of hominy, added 2 c of chicken broth, and a pint of this pork. Will garnish with some avocado and cilantro. Delicious!

Thank you for giving us the recipe and where to find it and more. I would say that about 98% of other channels fly by with the process and dont give us any information on the ingredient amounts or where to find them. You were clear and exact on the process and those ingredients. Those jars look wonderful and I will be making this soon as I just bought 40+ lbs of pork shoulder. Oh, those knives are beautiful. Im super picky about my knives and their function but yours are the most beautiful I have ever seen. I stopped the vid and went back a few times just to stare at them. LOL

This spicy pork makes a wonderful taco salad using it instead of ground beef. My family really prefers it to the pork to hamburger meat. I just drain it heat it and shred it a little and its ready to make the taco salad where I also use your charro beans in place of Ranch Style beans. Good Stuff!!

Going to can some quarts of this tonight. I just got finished with some pints of ugly chicken and it was my first time ever pressure canning. I am really looking forward to this!

Okay, I canned your spicey broth pork last week, and made tacos with it today. Yes! So good. I have no idea why I had so much fear in canning, glad I'm over it. Thank you so much. Big Aloha.

Jeni Gough. I canned this back in 6/2020 when I was getting large pork loins in my senior citizen commodities. Yes, I can those meats that I get for later use. Free too !!! Well, I didn't really do a taste test, I just stored it. Today I made a Mexican meal complete with canned pinto beans, rice, this spicy pork, guac, a little salad. You know, everything you'd get in a dinner for $12-$15 or more. I loved loved loved this pork in spicy broth. OMG Jeni next time they give pork away I'm going to do more. I've been using my canned goods and have lots of empty jars. I don't want this comment to be toooo long. I just wanted you to know.

Hey Jeni, I am new to your channel and lovin’ it! I made this recipe a couple weeks ago and opened a jar, I canned pints cuz I’m alone and don’t eat much. It turned out Fantastic! I made 3oz wide Egg Noodles then drained them and added the Pork. I’m always a bit cautious with spices so I under seasoned it from the heat but I could have put in a bit more. I added the Pork to the noodles still in the saucepan, and mixed flour & water to thicken the liquid in it AND, Salt, Pepper and Chow down! I have a Definate Favorite Food. 🎊 🎉! It is Amazing! I know you didn’t make up the recipe but if you had not brought it to my attention, I would be going without! So, Thank You so Much! God Bless You, JilliBean

Jeni, Oh my gosh, I tried your pork in spicy broth today in stuffed green peppers, using spaghetti sauce, spaghetti and sauteed onions. It was amazing! Thanks so much.

Jeni, I finally got around to doing this and added a step. Not sure it would be approved or not but I did it. After cutting into chucks I smoked for 30 minutes. Then roasted, etc. The smoke flavor was not strong but it was noticeable and delicious.

I really appreciated your video today. The proportions for tripling the recipe worked out just perfect for 7 quarts, which is my small canner capacity. I also subscribed to your channel today. I see that Linda's Pantry just commented today also. Her video was the other video I referenced before starting my canning session :)
