Been taking Cordyceps for almost 2 weeks now. Had water retention : GONE! Had chronic constipation: GONE! Was tired all the time: I am 42, I have the same energy I had as a teenager! Hormones were not balanced: Perfect hormonal balance. Which means that libido and energy when needed, is there. Not there all the time. But me and my husband was pleasantly surprised. Depression, was a little down and anxious: GONE! Really in a good mood all the time. My Seratonin levels were dangerously low, now I don't have that problem anymore. Wounds used to take a while to heal, now heals a lot faster. It works. Just get the Cordyceps Militaris from the best Apothecary you can find. I take it in drops form. It has done wonders for me.

Been taken cordyceps for two weeks and I've noticed my heart rate is lower and I don't get out of breath after a difficult set when lifting heavy weights which suggests it does have adaptive properties. That's just me tho so take it with a grain of salt but I feel stronger and have more energy from using it.

Cordyceps really help me with taking a full breath of air and not feel like I could use another. I notice more endurance when I walk my dog up a hill when it's cold. I'm able to breath deeply easily.

This was a thorough look at a trendy, not well understood agent. It's refreshing to get the facts on supplements, compounds, and agents that tend to be exaggerated by the overzealous. Appreciate your honesty, and scrutiny.

Have been experimenting with cordycepts and the effect it has.

Labido up for sure,
Endurance increased
Aerobic capability increased

Also has an insane effect to make me feel more connected to my inner intelligence... Especially when playing sports and having to make certain types of mind body reactions to situations.

Really powerful.

And thank you for the video... My favorite channel for Mushroom info 🍄

I'm terrible at swimming. It's too exhausting :) I've never heard of this fungus until going to a farmer's market this weekend. I'll give it a try and report back :)

Thanks for making that video. I love your voice and enjoyed listening to all the fascinating information about adaptogens. My experience started out with turkey tail mushrooms at a point where I was critically sick with lupus. It really piqued my interest when I heard you mention how cordyceps protect the kidneys. I actually have a bottle of extract at home I just started taking. Thank you also for the warnings about Chinese products. It's true of more than just their herbs. Their honey should not be trusted either as it is found to contain large amounts of corn syrup in recent shipments. Blessings to you dear one

This was such a informative video. I appreciate the fact that you distinguish between research you can more likely depend on and others that you cannot.

Good info, this fungus alongside many other natural medicines need more research and funding!

You gotta love good old fungus that has the ability to completely take over an ants mind and have it grow a tube out of it's head which makes it release spores killing other ants in the colony making it possible to wipe out entire ant colonies

I was curious about her terminology between mushroom and fungus @1:36. The first semantics google provides is that mushrooms are the reproductive structures (fruiting bodies) which grow from fungi and that all mushrooms are fungi but not all fungi produce mushrooms. Therefore, according to the above semantics,
Cordyceps are the mushrooms which grow from the fungi, the cordyceps themselves are the fruiting bodies, the mushrooms. And they can be grown just like mushrooms with grain and substrate which is not insects. So I am curious where she gets the terms that because it’s a parasite therefore it’s just fungus and not a mushroom.

Thank you Dr. Neurogal. This is a very informative objective video. It really helps me determine if Cordycep is worth trying. I hope you will produce another video on the two types of Cordycep with emphasis on kidney GFR function, hypertension, cholesterol and medication interactions.

Hi Dr. How are you? My Dr suggested ltheanine and cordyceps as I have an elevated cortisol level and anxiety 24/7. I just can’t feel calm ever. Do you think cordyceps is an appropriate adaptogen for my situation? Would love your opinion. Thank you Dr 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I use them regularly. They definitely work for energy, but I have never had a problem to determine if they are a magic male "enhancement", but you do get in the "mood" if you use them, which isn't always desired. I get concerned about taking too much and can't find much data on safety of long term use or large amounts. I do take brakes and don't do any herbs/mushrooms every day, mainly taking weekend off, but I don't do cordyceps every weekday either and tend to use them only when I'm a little extra tired or know I need the alertness or physical energy.

I can tell you from my own small experience using multi mushroom capsules that include cordyceps and Reishi, it has definitely helped so that my don't get inflamed with Asthma, specially when I'm hoovering, and my breathing in general is a little easier, been using these pills since March 2020
