Do you want me to do a portrait photoshoot using the mist filter I mention? I think it would be incredible for night photography in the city! 😍

I LOVED this video Laura. I always felt overwhelmed by filters because I didn't understand them. Reason why I've never used them before. You explained in such an easy way how they work. THANK YOU! I feel a bit more confident now when choosing one. I think I may go for a polarizer to start with but that pack is so good. It has all the filters we need! 😍

I am a hobbyist. Thank you for explaining the advantages of using filters. The live examples were the best for furthering your point. I typically use the filter that the salesperson suggested simply to protect my glass. Now I have a better understanding. I'm ready to practice and create.

3:45 mist filters changed my photography game so much, even though I have done professional photography for years. It is just a certain style that I love about it so much. I also created some for myself with very cheap filters and I put hairspray onto those filters. After them being dried they make an amazing self made haze/mist filter! What's also amazing: Just using some plastic wrap that I put around the front of my lens.

Excellent video Laura, I don’t currently have any “sunglasses for lenses” but your examples clearly show why they are very important. Being able to take pictures In sunlight without the sky being too burnt out is the difference between and good picture and a great one. I also love the mist filter……such an amazing effect 😊 thank you for the video this week, excellently produced

This is really helpful, thank you! I accidentally bought a polarizing filter for my lens (I meant to get a UV protection one) and noticed that when I rotated it, the pictures looked nicer. Now I know why. A great explanation of filters for a new camera hobbyist.

As always, glad to see you dropped a new video, Laura. I love your style. 🙂
You are on point, the filters we really need are just NDs and cpl. But mist ones are less useful, I think. You see, if we shoot without the mist filter, we still can achieve the same result on post, but the opposite is impossible: we can not "unmist" what was shot with mist filter without any loss of quality. So we can end up with having bad source files.

Laura you made my day! I just bought the K&F pack that is very similar to the one you show (except they are square ND) and was going back and forth about whether it was a good purchase. I just moved to Newport, which is a beach town, and I wanted to take some nice seascapes. Thanks for validating my purchase.

I just went out 3 days ago and used a 2 stop nd, keep me in 100 iso at f 1.8 love these, and the cpl is worth it's weight in gold, I really don't use it often(I need to), but I can't live without it!
