Zero sympathy for drivers on their phones, as far as I am concerned it should be an automatic £1000 fine and loss of licence for at least 12 months. If they end up losing their jobs, tough, entirely their own fault.

6:41 same scenario i saw about 1 month ago. The lorry was indicating to the right and all drivers in right lane made the space. When lorry driver decided to change the lanes the idiot from 3rd lane turned into the spot created for the lorry despite 3rd lane was clear ahead. Luckily lorry driver spotted it and swerved to the left to avoid the collision. Hope the young car driver would have more sense next time and observe ahead properly that was really daft move from him

1:01 surely that’s driving without due care and attention? I can never understand why drivers are surprised when their lorry that is obviously taller than the stated height of the bridge hits the bridge. The railway bridge on the A5 near Hinckley is a case in point, there are warning signs on all approaches to the bridge so there’s no excuse.

@6:40 the truck is LHD. Since the car moved over when it was level with the cab there is no way the truck driver could have been aware of its presence.

People using phones behind the wheel should get a driving ban, there’s NO EXCUSE for it, I put them in the same class as drink drivers. They’re not aware of their surroundings and what’s going on. The wagon driver off loading the bales was clearly going too quickly.

There's nothing wrong with the street furniture in London. Cities are for people, not artics. Hardly any of the deliveries into cities require an artic, so if driving an artic around a city is inconvenient, use a smaller lorry instead.
