Soup, great topic and a very mature conversation. I am 57, retired military. On too many occasion and have had to take risk that were extremely dangerous. I was willing to die taking these risks. Willing. There lies the point. What are you willing to live for and what are you willing to die for. Only you can answer this for yourself, and you are doing great! Love life, explore new options, take risks, be as safe as you can be and return home. That is all we can do. You got this!

Your backstory is incredibly inspiring, and I’m truly grateful to have discovered your channel when you were just starting out. Watching both you and your channel grow over time has been an amazing journey, and I’m honored to now be a member of your community.

I’m currently on the path to becoming an underwater welder and am getting closer to the point of starting school for it. Hearing about your diving experiences has given me a lot to think about and has helped me consider important aspects of this career that I hadn’t fully explored before. While I’m still committed to pursuing this path, your insights have provided valuable perspective that I’ll carry with me as I move forward. Thank you for sharing your journey—it’s made a real impact on mine.

Sound wisdom! I have learned so much in my 65 years of life and the thing that I rely on the most is my gut instinct. My intuition has never let me down, it has helped me make tough decisions that for the most part work out favorably. Trust your inner voice for it knows the right

this new camera angle on the bike is great, can see really well all the movements of the bike

My dad made a deal with me when I was a kid. He would buy me dirt toys if I would promise to stay off street bikes. Was a great deal for both of us. My uncles best friend threw a piston on hwy 550 in CO and went off the side. Even if some idiot doesn’t kill you, a mechanical failure on your bike or someone else’s can, along with animals and about 20 other things. Dirt bikes pretty much leave you in control of your destiny. Unless you start doing some freestyle stuff you are pretty safe.

Thanks for sharing your story man! It’s honestly something to be really proud of. Both being able to realize something could potentially be bad for you and wanting to avoid that risk, and for not wanting to quit. I wish I could say the same. I played basically every basic sport at least once in my life but haven’t stuck with any of them. I never quit halfway through the season, though that was mostly out of obligation and respect for my team and coaches. The only thing that I have stuck with has been shooting trap at my local shotgun club, but that isn’t very competitive and most of us go there to shoot the breeze and bs. I hope that I find the motivation to get competitive with either that or racing dirt bikes when I get one. God bless and stay safe, man!

You know every time I start thinking about not posting videos on YouTube I get that one comment from someone that makes all of it worth the effort. No I dont make any money off my channel but the feeling you get when someone comments how your video have expired them with worth more than money to me. I think your channel will explode because not only do you have great riding skills that attract those who only want to see a good rip but you are trying to motivate others. I wish you the best of luck with your channel.

Appreciate the calm thought provoking video man. I ride dirt bikes and a street motorcycle. Dirt bikes are way more fun and exciting. I do love riding my street bike as well, but i ride very conservatively, and with the idea that everything is out to kill me. Survival, as well as the feel of the machine and the road, is where I find my joy with it; and in that order. I often consider giving it up though, and just staying on the dirt.

Be prepared for the risk is the right advice for anyone who throws a leg over any motorcycle.

I can definitely see the similarities between cave diving and street riding. The hard truth is your friends and people in the community may be here one day and gone the next. It’s just the way it is.
