Music: “Cradle of Shadows” – Karl Casey @ White Bat Audio
Pennsylvania, 2012 - The Bretzius family discovers hundreds of dead animals and other strange objects ritualistically placed inside every single wall in their newly purchased home. Initially, it was thought the animals crawled inside the home and died, but the carcasses were all wrapped in newspaper from the 1930s and 40s, indicating they were all deliberately placed there and walled up. The Bretzius family was horrified and confused.
One by one they started becoming ill and the horrible smell lingered in the the house, even when the walls were covered back up. Eventually, they sent off some of the carcasses and items to an occult expert in a nearby town. The expert informed them this was a form of pow-wow, or Dutch Magic. It is meant to heal illnesses and offer physical and spiritual protection from evil entities.
Insurance refused to cover the cost to open the walls and remove the carcasses, so the Bretzius family spent $20,000 of their own savings on repairs but it eventually ran out, leaving many walls remaining that still have ritual items and dead animals inside of them.
Pretty creepy, right?
