I've recently fell in love with Hozier's music and it feels surreal that I've spent the whole day watching his interviews, solely to hear this incredible sweet soul talk about his work, and about an hour after this video came out I was able to watch it. One of the things I am grateful for in life is being able to be alive at the same period of history where this man is alive.

Totally didn't catch that about Empire Now. It felt deeply happy to me, just imagining anyone who lost their lives for a free state to know that it did in fact come about. But I did snag on that line a bit, which makes sense now. Like Sinead said in Famine, until we confront those traumas collectively we can't move past them.
