What a beautiful story!
I got together with my guy when he was already at a low point and things kept getting worse and worse for him. I stayed because I loved his heart. I rallied and championed for him and in 11 months of hard work we rebuilt his life. 1 year to the day of his collapse, I fell down some stairs and broke my ankle. Unable to work and barely eligible for disability coming out of Covid and my pay-in dues. That same week, he told me he wasn’t in love with me anymore. In this instance I got used. But, I would rather live my life believing in people and being wrong, than not believing in people and being right. Always.
