Got this a few months ago on clearance at Walmart for $229. But mine came with 8gb of ram and a 500gb ssd. Both I’ve upgraded to a 32gb kit and a 1tb sata ssd. Both I got on sale still under $400 total and looking to upgrade gpu next!

Sold a 4790 hp prodesk with rx 570 4gb for 350 with the goal of building new/better pc.
Bought victus used for 250 usd. Threw in another 8gb of ram, a 512gb 2.5 ssd to go with the 512gb nvme, found a full size rx 580 8gb OC edition all for 300 usd. Runs great with a lil upgrade room. Added a 165hz 1080p monitor for 50 bucks and completely transformed my gaming experience :)

How well does it keep cool under high loads? That tiny screen of holes doesn't look like it would allow much air intake when your CPU/GPU are going full speed.

HP is has this system for Black Friday on sale for $399. I am not a gamer but am looking to replace a 10 year old HP that has been great for my needs but Windows 10 will be losing support soon. Would it make sense to buy this for $399 for my basic home computing needs over a budget Celeron Desktop? I assume I can do more on this unit and for that price I would be getting better performance.
