I've had this PC (i7 upgrade) for a couple of weeks and the only complaint is the thermals (reaching 90+ degrees while gaming for CPU and GPU). I ended up installing an upgraded CPU cooler, added three 92mm 1600rpm redux fans (1 exhaust, 2 intake). The two intake fans were installed using the black bracket on the side (had to recreate the black bracket on CAD software and then used the negative space to fill the peaks and valleys on both sides of the bracket to create an isolator gasket for the fan to only suck air from the vent holes/mitigate vibration and had to dremel a small portion of the SSD caddy to fit the fans. Now it runs like a dream but will need to rearrange the fans if I want to upgrade the GPU in the future.

I did this too. I put a massive fractal intake there. Runs much cooler now

Thanks, this helped me. Bought an intake fan and a new cpu cooler. Will prob make a big difference in temperature and noise.

I bought mine in Korea recently and it was one with Ryzen 5600G, 16GB RAM, 500GB NVMe and 3060ti for a little over 1K; I did use a discount coupon. I can run most of my old games maxed out at 4K resolution at 60fps. I would like to cool it down some more though. Good tip on the fan.

I would use a 120mm intake fan at the bottom of the case instead of the 80mm fan. And adding that 1tb ssd for extra games space is a great idea. That way, if you backup and have to restore the pc, the restore file will be smaller and restore faster. At under $900, that is a really inexpensive 1440p gaming pc. Looks great.

Dude $825 dollars for a 3060 TI pc? That’s a insane deal! i have a Lenovo Prebuilt with a 10400f and a 1660 super which I got for $700 on Black Friday it’s a decent pc, but damn for 825 for a 3060 ti pc is preety fair

I put a 92mm AIO cooler combined with a 92mm fan from Noctua into my Victus and reduced the temps drastically. Originally I would get a high of 90°C but after installing the AIO I got a huge drop my high for my GPU is a little under 70°C now and my CPU sits at about 32°C. I also did do a thermal paste change And also added 16gb ddr4 3200mhz ram and was able to lock it at 3200mhz with AMD Ryzen Master

my victus 15l gpu gets in the 40s when im running intensive games and my cpu goes up to into the 50s as well when im running intensive games. and i have a HDD and nothing happens with the airflow my 15l is quiet also (my system specs, Gtx 1660 super, ryzen 5 5600g 256gb SSD 1TB HDD. my monitor is a msi optix g24c)

I added a 1 tb ssd to my 15l with the bracket from a broken xbox I had it allowed me to mount it flat to the front of the case using those holes.

Put I have a suggestion you should add a another fan like outside, like a desk fan and aim towards the intake holes on the side this might improve airflow and temperatures, but it might a bit noisy since it would be a desk fan

I would’ve kept the HDD caddy, and mounted the fan behind the black grill. Still a decent find for the price.

i want to put a fan at the same spot.should i make it intake or exhaust?, as i understand it if i use the fan on the opposite side, it should be intake?i would also want to ask you, theres only one spot to connect the fan right?where the default exhaust fan is connected?

When you put the 3060ti in it did you go with the 500w hp psu or the 450w I know that the erica8 motherboard is really specific to needing the 4 pin connector off the psu

Planing on doing the same for the computer i am about to buy. Could you help me about though. Looking up the cable splitter i found that there are two options. 3 and 4 pin cables. What does this victus us? And is there another slot to add an additional ssd or would i have to replace my ssd with another?

I also installed a fan in the same position but I used the black grill to mount it.

So I just ordered a Victus 15L with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600Gv Processor and AMD Radeon RX 5500 Graphics Card. This is gonna be my first computer so I'm super stoked about it, and finding this video has been a huge help man. Don't think I'm gonna go too crazy on the customization, but I bought the same 16GB RAM as you did to replace the 8GB chips. Want to upgrade the storage in the future too. Do you have any tips for setup, or certain things that should be installed when you load up for the computer for the first time? Im a newbie, so I don't even fully understand the omen application you showed at the end or anything like that lol. Great video man!

what about blowing a floor fan towards the intake side? That should help with the air flow issue and help cooling shouldnt it? I like the idea of removing all the space taking materials inside the tower.
