Half of Ukraine speaks Russian. No one has ever banned the Russian language in Ukraine. This is just nonsense. In Ukraine, a law was introduced according to which official documentation and official professional education must be in Ukrainian, since this is the state language. Russia is home to more than 126 nationalities, many of which have their own language, but the only official language in Russia is Russian. To get an education, you must know Russian. All official documentation is in Russian. But at the same time, the Russians use the fact that Ukraine has one official language as one of the excuses for intrusion. This war is not about languages, not about NATO and the West, this war is about a crazy old dictator wanted to take over a neighboring country.

You’ve got your north west and north east the wrong way round. Re-take. Oh, and Russian is the dominant language all through east, central (Kyiv) and well into the west of the county and is no indication of support for Russia. People here are still absolutely free to speak Russian but due to their renewed hatred of all things Russian choose to speak Ukrainian. Stay out of what you know nothing about and stick to the easy stuff.

Jordan Peterson, the most important man of our time…who can’t apparently read history or look at a map.

This is from a video called ‘Ukraine Vs Russia or civil war in the West?’…and it’s possibly the most embarrassing thing he’s said or posted (at least if you care integrity and accurate history)

In this clip alone he says the social conflict in Ukraine was between the north eastern Ukrainians and the south eastern Russia speaking Ukrainians…this is incorrect. It’s infact the ‘Eastern’ side of Ukraine (where most Russian speaking ukranians are) and central+western side of Ukraine.

Also, the ‘language ban’ specifically requested ANY publication printed in Russian MUST be also printed in Ukranian. And everyone must speak Ukrainian primarily and only speak Russian when requested/nevcesary (I.e. when the person can’t speak any ukranian)…that isn’t a language ban.

He also keeps saying ‘The Ukraine’. That’s how the Kremlin refers to Ukraine as it speaks of Ukraine as the border of Russia (when they were in the Soviet Union) so it’s like how America might refer to its border with Mexico as ‘The Border’ and thus Russia refers to Ukraine as ‘The Ukraine’ as almost a part of its territory. An interesting choice of words from a man supposedly neutral on this conflict. He grossly ignores Ukraines political history too. Blaming this war on woke people is insulting to the history between the history of the two countries. This has been building up for 20 years.
