John is not a fan of Morelllo. Around 2003 a bunch of famous guitarists went to meet and take photos with Jimmy Page. Among them were John and Tom. John stood next to Jimmy for the photos, then Tom just kind of forced himself between Jimmy and John and pushed John to the side. John said how he disliked Tom after that.

I've never liked Tom Morello, he's been repeating the same guitar gimmicks for decades and as a person he comes of as arrogant and politically hypocritical.
