How To Get Inside a Mumbai Local At Rush Hour!!

A video of the crowd getting into the 18:13 Virar bound local. This train starts its trip from Andheri and shown here is the mad rush for seats. This by the way is the first class coach.

Whoever is inside the compartment at this time instinctively move towards the other side of the door so that they don't come in between the traffic. These people do this same act DAILY.

This btw is not what the typical Mumbaikar would call crowded. Thats right, it gets much worse than this. This is relatively empty!

This is also the art of getting off from a train during rush hour. Just wait until everyone rushes in, then slowly disembark. But mostly work at only the starting point stations!
