This is not correct. The Rutherford model is also known as the solar system model - this model has electrons crashing into the nucleus as their orbits decay. The Bohr model has shells with electrons based on their energy quanta. Electrons jump between shells dependent on energy gain (being hit by a photon) or loss/decay. The Bohr model says electrons do not crash into the nucleus because there is a min shell of energy quanta no electron can go below. Today, given the Schrodinger equation (wave function of a quantum-mechanical system), we know the atom looks like a nucleus surrounded by a fuzzy cloud of electrons (still in shells) that may be entangled and cannot be measured for both location and velocity. The smaller number of electrons produces a uniform fuzzy cloud of "probable" electron locations, as electron count increase the uniform cloud can permutate and become multiple layers clouds.
