Now, Harimoto beated Ma Long in ITTF Japan Open 2018.
And he truly deserves it.
now, what are you guys who underestimating him thinking about?

Ma long toned down his game and Harimoto Tomokazu got to play some table tennis. Good guy Ma long and future star Harimoto Tomokazu :)

Anybody who has ever played table tennis (even at the amateur level) would understand that shouting is a natural reaction to winning a point. Come on, he is 12 years old and playing in the men's singles category, against the world number 72 yesterday. Imagine the kind of adrenaline he had going through his body. I don't see where all this hate is coming from. You guys can find him annoying and dislike him but there is absolutely no reason to hate on him.

Ma Long takes everyone seriously, kid or adult, he plays his game and that is why he is the best in the world.

I could imagine what the Japanese coach must've told Harimoto the night before the match lol. "Listen you stand no chance against Ma Long, so all I want you to do is play as best you can." "You'll get a few points, but you won't even come close to beating him." As a coach what else could you say? Lol

Ma Long seemed like he was trying really hard, you know, not to fall asleep during the match.
He's like "see you in twelve years, random kid"

It was an experience for Harimoto now he knows the system of the chinese top players so he can improve his style and he will grow

It would be better for him if he can train along with some chinese province team. Tomokazu went to Shanghai CYH ping-pong school in late 2015 and he only won one game out of the eight when playing with other chinese kid. Most of them were born around 2004-2005, and he lost to one girl who is the same age as him. The head coach of that school agreed Harimoto Tomokazu is very talented but also said "for him to be on the same level as chinese player he needs way more training."
