Sounds a lot like clash of clans. You can decide who you want to attack but you shoukd peioritize beating people closer to your power so the lower power people get a chance at defeating some people too.

I was 2 times in a row "not participating in this round". Why? Did the guild leader remove me from the fight or is that a bug?

How can I challenge more than 2 people when doing the guild battles? It’s only giving me 2 “attempts” to challenge other players in the enemy guild.

Idk about "being matched based on power". Our guild is either matched with guilds we have no chance to compete agianst or with guilds that have no chance to compete against us.
It's complete wack, lmao.
