An elderly Israeli hostage who was released by Hamas overnight on Tuesday said she was beaten by militants as she was taken into Gaza on Oct. 7, but was then well-treated during her two-week captivity in the Palestinian enclave. Yocheved Lifshitz, 85, told reporters that she ate the same food as Hamas militants and that a doctor had visited her while she was held in a network of tunnels within Gaza.

If only Israel treated the 10000 Palestinian hostages it currently holds within its prisons, including 100s of children, with the same respect and compassion. Just yesterday a political prisoner from the West Bank was killed whilst being held by Israel. These crimes are seen by the entire world and you can no longer control the narrative with your lies.
