Deploying Blazor Mini Course: Updating Connection Strings in Azure

Deploying Blazor is really easy. But instead of me just showing you a few magic steps, we are going to break down the deployment process and understand each piece well. That way, you are prepared to use each step in the real world with a real project.

So far, we have created a Blazor Server project and displayed the connection string, we set up a GitHub repository, we configured our Azure Web app that we want to deploy to, and we set up GitHub Actions to automatically deploy our site upon commit. Now in this video, we are going to update our connection string automatically when we deploy to Azure.

Is this the last episode of this series? I can't find the next video about the domain settings.

Hi Tim, just a couple of questions regarding your Azure course that you have on your web site. 1). How old is the course content and how much does that matter? 2). Do you cover setting up a payment processor such as Stripe and if so do you use functions or durable functions to accomplish this? Actually I have three questions, 3). Do you go over how to upload for example product images to blob storage and how to use blob storage? These are some areas I am having challenges with. Thanks for the great content!

very nice feature but something wasn't clear to me does that mean that azure alter the appsettings file that was deployed itself or the memory when the app try to read it?
