When I was in college here in the US, I met a Chinese girl whose family had immigrated to Nicaragua and lived there for many years before coming to the United States. She invited me to an extended family party one day and it was really weird seeing all these older Chinese people conversing in Spanish.

In Bahasa Indonesia, you say "saya tinggal di Malaysia 4 tahun" in Bahasa Melayu you can say also "duduk" or to sit in exchange for "to live" or "tinggal".

Hey Moses with covid going on, a good idea for a video, or just so you can speak to random people from other countries try going on ometv. It's like omegle or chatroulette so it's video calling with random people, but you can choose any country to speak to random people. You can switch your location using a vpn to get a majority of people from whatever country's language you want to speak in. I think it would be really cool.
