The Breeders - Live at the MTV Studios, broadcast on the UK version of 120mins, presented by Paul King. Recorded from analogue cable receiver, start connected into PAL VHS VCR, recording at SP mono audio. TDK EHG E180 Tape archive number. 717 On the night of broadcast, October 9th 1993, The Breeders were playing live at the Clapham Grand, London. 1 of almost 3000 music videos on this channel, all taken from my videotape collection.

Now I totally get why older people would always tell me "back in my day, things were so much better". The 90s were 'my' day... and goddamn they were so much better than today.

being a drummer in the early 90s was a very physical role

I love how they finished on Iris, from their first album, rather than something from their more commercially successful second. Not trying to appeal to the masses. Pod is a classic.

I can’t believe how good of a version of Aloha this is

I almost can’t handle the nostalgia. I love the music so much but I get so wistful. Don’t look back.

That intro to Cannonball is one of THE most iconic sounds of the 90s.

Josephine and Jim are just amazing as rhythm section. They always came up with tight and flawless performance around the time of Last Splash album. No wonder they are back into the fold for the last album and recent tour.

The chasm of time between now and then where all my teenage excitement and wonder went to die is a hard boil upon the weeping sigh of my sweaty eyed tears.

30 years ago! - I can remember this, many thanks! I used to record lots of MTV on my Philips 6585 NICAM VCR also using TDK - but playing them back they don't look half as good as yours
